The Reverend Judith Malear is an Ordained Interfaith Minister who gives warm, spiritual and/or religious weddings at beautiful ceremony sites on the beach & a coastal garden in Half Moon Bay. Rev. Judith has been performing customized ceremonies at oceanfront locales and other San Mateo Coast side locations for the past 8 years.
Rev. Judith is intuitive, insightful, creative, compassionate and professional. She assists each couple in creating the wedding ceremony they envision, both in the words of the ceremony and the ritual. She provides a broad selection of religious or spiritual ceremonies for the couple to use in creating a ceremony that fits both their religious beliefs and cultural heritage. Her ceremonies are delivered with warmth and devotion. Each couple she has worked with has felt their wedding was even more than the special and significant event they envisioned
>From her years of experience, as well as her extensive studies of spiritual practices throughout the world, she can suggest ways of weaving religious or ethnic backgrounds into the celebration. Her manner throughout is on a highly professional and spiritual level, coupled with joy and humor.
Following the wedding, Judith presents an exquisite keepsake copy of the ceremony to the couple as well as to each of the couples' families.
Rev. Judith is adept at assisting couples who are planning their event from a long distance. She has married many couples from Europe - Belgium, Germany, England, numerous states within the US and Canada.
A great advantage for those who are planning on eloping: Rev. Judith can issue a confidential marriage license immediately- couples don't have to go all the way to Tahoe/Vegas for an "intimate getaway wedding." Rev. Judith can put everything together in a romantic setting in a surprisingly short time. Photographic opportunities abound both at the beach and in the garden, as does the abundance of fresh grown local flowers for a bouquet and boutonniere.
Rev. Judith is also available to perform ceremonies at other locales in the Bay Area. Some of the venues where she has officiated include: San Francisco - St. Francis Hotel, Fairmont Hotel & Cliff House, Peninsula Hotels, and the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay.
